Fee Structure

We strive to provide our clients with a variety of payment options. To that end, we accept Mastercard, VISA, and Discover cards, checks, and cash.

We also offer a contingent fee arrangement to clients in such cases as automobile accidents, professional negligence, job discrimination, wrongful discharge, defective products, and other cases causing personal injury or wrongful death. A contingent fee is a fee that is charged only when we recover money for our clients, and is based on a percentage of the compensation we obtain for our clients.

We also provide services on an hourly basis. The following is a partial list of the cases we handle and the fees we charge:


	Michael C. Helbert		$175.00 per hour*
	R. Clark Allemang, II		$150.00 per hour*
	Susan D. Payne, Paralegal		$ 70.00 per hour*

	Workers' Compensation		25% contingent fee
	Wrongful Death, Personal Injury, Auto accidents, Professional negligence, Defective products, etc.		25% - 40% contingent fee depending on the case
	Job discrimination and Wrongful discharge		33 1/3% - 50% contingent fee depending on the case
	If harassment stems from something other than race, religious creed, ethnic background, color of skin, age (40 or over), sex, whistle blower/retaliation, then, in most cases, a written contract for employment must exist. All initial consultations for workers compensation, wrongful death, and automobile cases are free. There is a fee of $35.00 for a 30 minute consultation on most other cases. After the first 30 minutes, the regular hourly rates apply.
	On divorce cases, the regular hourly fees apply.
		Divorce	Up front minimum fee of $1,500.00 to $2,000.00, plus Court filing fee.
		Post Divorce Matters	$700.00 to $1,000.00 minimum fee, plus Court filing fee
		Child Custody	$2,000.00 to $5,000.00, plus Court filing fee
	Misdemeanor or Misdemeanor DUI's		$750.00 to $1,500.00 minimum fee
	Criminal - Felony
		Level 7-10	$1,500.00 to $5,000.00 minimum fee
		Level 4-7	$5,000.00 minimum fee
		Level 3 to off grid	$10,000.00 minimum fee

	Power of Attorney		$75.00 single person
			$100.00 husband and wife
	Military Power of Attorney		No charge for military personnel being deployed overseas
	Wills
		Basic Will	$200.00 single person flat fee
			$275.00 husband and wife flat fee
		Revocable Trust	$850.00 estimate
		Advanced Wills and/or Estate Planning	Hourly charge
	Adoption
		Uncontested	$500.00, plus court filing fee and publication costs
		Contested	$1,000.00 to $2,000.00 minimum fee, plus court filing fee and publication costs
	Legal Name Change		$300.00 minimum fee, plus publication cost and court filing fee
	Corporation		$750.00 plus filing fee
	LLC		$500.00 plus filing fee
	Expungement		$300.00 plus court filing fee for each case
All fees are subject to change and may vary on the complexity or the simplicity of the legal questions involved. Appointments are available on nights and weekends in appropriate.
